The Daisy Dryden® System is a complete water treatment concept designed to create the cleanest, healthiest, and most sustainable swimming pool water. Developed by Dryden Aqua, Daisy combines high-quality products into one powerful system that works with nature instead of against it.
How Daisy Works (the 5 building blocks)
- AFM® Activated Filter Media
Replaces sand; filters down to ~1 micron and is bio-resistant, preventing biofilm and reducing chlorine demand.
- APF® All-Poly Flocculant
A multi-spectrum coagulant/flocculant that binds fine particles, phosphates, oils and microplastics into filterable flocs.
- ZPM™ – Zeta Potential Mixer
A static mixer that creates intense turbulence and cavitation to reduce the water’s zeta potential. This dramatically improves contact between APF® and contaminants, forming stronger, larger flocs and boosting overall filtration efficiency through AFM®. (Installed in-line before the filter, with APF® dosing just upstream for optimal mixing.)
- ACO® – Active Catalytic Oxidizer
Uses sunlight to generate oxygen-based oxidants and protects chlorine from UV, keeping water clearer while lowering chemical consumption.
Typical flow: Skimmer → Pump → APF® dose → ZPM™ → AFM® Filter → Heater/Return.
Key Benefits
- Ultra-clear, safer water – fine particle removal and minimal chloramine odor/irritation.
- Less chemicals – lower chlorine demand thanks to AFM® + APF® + ZPM™ synergy and ACO® UV protection.
- Higher filtration efficiency – ZPM™ strengthens floc formation; AFM® captures more, faster.
- Lower operating costs – fewer backwashes, less water and energy use.
- Sustainable by design – works with natural processes and bio-resistant filtration.
